Work typically done in a general clinic includes blood tests, ECGs, blood pressure, injections, urine testing, and dressings. Blood tests need to be done before the transport takes the specimens to the laboratory at 12.00 noon.

If you doctor has requested a fasting blood test then please refrain from eating anything from midnight before the test. You are allowed to drink water only but nothin else during this time.

Practice Nurse Clinics: The practice nurses offer clinic appointments to deal with asthma, BP reviews, Cardiovascular disease reviews, new patient checks, and to give depo-provera contraceptive injections.

Triage Clinics: Minor illnesses can be seen in the triage clinic.
