MISSED APPOINTMENTS - Update

In October 2008 84 patients failed to turn up to appointments without letting us know in advance. Just imaganine 2 of our doctors being absent from work for 3 days a week!; Just think how many patients could have been given appointments if only our staff had been advised.

If you know you are going to be unable to attend, even if it is at the last minute, then please telephone us to cancel (08444773283). We will then be able to offer that appointment to someone else.

Online appointment booking

Do you find that booking an appointment is difficult? We have tried to make it easier with our new online appointment system. You can now book and cancel appointments via the internet. In order to do this there are a few simple security steps that are required.

We are closed on a Saturday morning. You may still access a doctor by ringing our telephone number. Our telephone lines are open for emergencies from 8am until 6.30pm.  Our two evening surgeries on Tuesdays and Wednesdays are for pre-booked appointments only.

The front doors are closed between 12.30 and 1.30pm every day. However if you have an emergency there is a button to press which will gain you access.

As well as routine surgeries to see the doctor, you can now book telephone appointments with a doctor. These are not bookable on the internet.



To book an appointment you need to call the surgery on 0844 477 3283 (our lines are open from 0805).  You are now able to book appointments up to six weeks in advance.

To order a repeat prescription you will need to fill out the right hand side of your prescription and drop it into your nominated Lloyds pharmacy 48 hours before you require the prescription.

If you are dropping off your prescription into the Health Centre post box - PLEASE DO NOT FOLD OR PUT IN AN ENVELOPE.  Your confidentiality is preserved at all times and this will help us to adminster your prescription more speedily.
